I Love the SUV Drivers

This happened to me several times on the road by both male and female drivers. At first I thought that it might be gender related, I was wrong. Then I thought that there might be a correlation between the make of the car and the behavioral pattern of the driver, it turned out that there wasn't.
You see, I would be stopping at a traffic light or stuck in a traffic jam during the 'darkness hours' and there would be a SUV behind me (my car is at a lower height) the SUV driver would then shut-off their headlights (temporarily ofcourse) so that they won't blind/discomfort me with the light that reflects in the rearview mirror of my car. I just thought that was very considerate, and I don't think this has ever happened to me anywhere else before*.

*Driving experience: I've driven a car on three different continents/four countries.
